Q-Systems was founded in 1988 by Eric Merz, an independent developer of business software/solutions. At the time, Mr. Merz had a specialty in newspaper business systems. The company was started with clients in the northeast United States, and has since grown throughout the US and Canada. Mr. Merz is responsible for the creation of the DB/Q™ Applications Development and Management System, which is the engine for all of the applications developed and supported by Q-Systems. Company is currently based on Long Island, NY.
