GrowthPower

Growthpower was the product of a company called Computer Solutions Inc (CSI), founded in 1974. In the beginning, CSI was a consulting services company. Initially, they focused on small to medium sized manufacturers. As a result of their experience with their customers, they decided to build their own software package, which became GrowthPower. It was released in 1981. It was an MRP II system with integrated financials which ran (exclusively) on the HP3000 platform. There was, at one time, over 1,000 customers for GrowthPower. The CEO was Mitchell Kertzman, who went on to found PowerBuilder, with Dave Litwack, former Vice President of R&D a Cullinet.
