Founded in 1984, AccountMate enjoyed early success as the company uniquely encouraged customers to customized the application, and included source code. Company was sold to Softline, then Best Software. In 2004 AccountMate Management bought the company back. Today the company boasts of more than 125,000 users in 200+ different industries.
